The Buckeyes are coming to DFW to take on the Longhorns in the 2025 Cotton Bowl! This page is your guide to all of the Cotton Bowl events that will be occurring across DFW. Please continue to check back as this page will be updated up until kickoff.
Welcome to Dallas PartyJoin The Ohio State University Alumni Association and the Alumni Club of Dallas-Fort Worth for an evening of fun and connection, as we welcome Buckeyes from near and far to Dallas, TX. Mekka Don will be performing at 10pm! A signed and framed 2015 National Champions poster will be raffled!
Where: Stan’s Blue Note (2908 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75206)
When: Thursday, January 9th, 2025 from 7-9pm (Registered People), 9pm – Late (Everybody)
Registration: Link – Registration is FREE, but is required. You will get one FREE drink coupon with registration. Registration has sold out! However, everybody is welcome at 9pm!

Your safety is our number one priority. Given the current weather and forecast, out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to cancel the Welcome to Dallas Party Party event event at Stan’s Blue Note for this evening. If you would like to gather with other Buckeyes ahead of the game tomorrow, the Alumni Club of Dallas Fort Worth will have an informal tailgate prior to kickoff in Lot 11. The Alumni Club flag will be flying above the tailgate.
TBDBITL Open Rehearsal
Come on out and watch the OSU Marching Band prepare for the Cotton Bowl during this open rehearsal.
Where: Melissa Championship Center (3030 Milrany Ln, Melissa, TX 75454)
When: Thursday, January 9th, 2025 from 2-4pm
Goodyear Huddle Up Fan Fest
This family-friendly event includes interactive exhibits, games, great giveaways, tons of food trucks, kids’ play zones, photo opportunities and so much more. It will also include a 60-minute performance by DJ Diesel (aka Shaquille O’Neal).
Where: East and West Plazas of AT&T Stadium
When: Friday, January 10th, 2025 from 3:30-6:30pm. DJ Diesel’s performance is from 4:30-5:30pm.
Entry: A game ticket is required to gain entrance. There is no additional fee.

OSU DFW Alumni Club Tailgate
Come on out and tailgate with the local alumni club! Bring your favorite beverages to keep you warm! We’ll have patio heaters to keep you toasty while jamming to your favorite Buckeye tunes! We will have local DFW Alumni Club T-shirts for sale!
When: Friday, January 10th, 2025 starting at 2:30pm
Where: Parking Lot 11 of AT&T Stadium. See circled area to find us. We will have our Buckeye flags flying!
